Boundary Bay Reeds
Both parents made pottery. When it came time to glaze with designs, they used the Sgraffito technique. In Italian it means "to scratch". Most of their pottery was scratched with repeating designs to reveal the clay color underneath. This acrylic landscape was painted in the same mannerism, I sgraffito-ed the top layer to reveal the green underneath.
