Remember the Tandy computers? CPU processors with circuit boards, pins, cables. In order to print on paper, I had to write the code, 90 LPRINT CHR$(98), etc. One time in computer class, I wrote the code for a random number generator to start a chess game. When MacIntosh's WYSIWYG (pronounced "wizzy-wig") came out, my interest grew exponentially. All that coding was too tedious, instead I wanted to see things move with a drag and drop. Fast forward to today, I still use the Geek services at times, but mostly, I use a "teenager" who knows the apps inside and out and can type with two thumbs at a rate of 135 words per minute. I'm so envious. My left thumb was partially cut off when a solid door slammed on it. I can text, but not with that thumb. The right thumb was sprained twice, falling off a horse and falling down a slope while skiing. That thumb doesn't text well either. And the talk to text function doesn't exactly pick up my words as it should, that dang autocorrect puts some inappropriate comments together. Words may fail me, but images in my paintings don't. The artwork, Motherboard, brings a memory to mind of the computer people who have helped me over the years. I'm ever so grateful for their help.
