As a kid, my dad heard that one could pick up fireworks in Chinatown. So he and his friends walked this landmark bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan. Either my grandmother didn't know about it, or she was more permission than I ever would have been. Either way, he didn't find any fireworks. It was an urban legend. My daughter sent me the photo to use as inspiration. Can't wait until the weather is perfect and I'll put my walking boots on.
