Sometimes the painting is more about the thickness of the paint than the subject matter. Even with all those textured layers plastered with a palette knife, still managed to capture the Empire State Building from East 12th Street in Manhattan, NYC. The lights were dazzling, the people alive in the streets, the pubs thumping music beats, and my boots kept on walking.
