Riding the J Line Subway, we stop at a station with beautiful light posts. I painted the scene with oil paint though it looks like oatmeal. The thick oil underpainting has been curing for years, some of which I had to peel off what had not cured yet. The top layer is full of oil. Likely take some time to fully cure, and maybe a week to be dry to the touch. Oil painting teaches patience, wait, wait, wait, paint, wait, wait, wait, paint.
