Brownstones every which where in NYC. Sometimes the painting is not really about the subject or scene, sometimes it's just about the paint, the integrity of the canvas, the oil, the years it took to cure, to dry, the thick chunks of vivid color, with Gapka handmade colour glaze as a second layer to the underpainting. The oil slick on this piece in hopes that it will act like glue to adhere the top coat. Experimentations of techniques are one of my favorite things to do.
